Woolworths recalls Shortcrust Summer Berry Mince Pies sold in NSW over contamination fears

Woolworths has recalled a batch of its Christmas mince pies over fears the festive treat may contain metal.

The supermarket giant issued the recall on Friday, warning consumers its six-pack of Shortcrust Summer Berry Mince Pies may contain metal fragments.

“Food products containing metal may cause illness/injury if consumed,” Woolworths warned.

“Consumers should not eat this product.”

The affected products were sold at Woolworths stores in NSW and are best before June 13, 2024.

Consumers are advised to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
