It’s relatively common for automakers to offer cash incentives designed to move inventory. Not enough people buying Nissan Altimas at full price? Just knock a few thousand dollars off the price and see what that does. Your typical Altima buyer actually has to think about money, though. A Rolls-Royce buyer, on the other hand, does not. Still, for some reason, Rolls-Royce is currently offering customers a $15,000 discount, CarsDirect reports.
If you were hoping to save a few bucks on a new Phantom, though, we have some bad news for you. The cash incentive only applies to the purchase of a Ghost or Cullinan. And perhaps the people who buy those Rolls-Royces could use the discount. After all, both can be had for less than $400,000, and we all know you don’t have real money unless you’re dropping more than $500,000 on the car while also paying at least six figures for a chauffeur every year.
Wait, where were we? Oh yeah, the $15,000 cash incentive. Dealers were notified at the beginning of the year that “Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA is introducing a Non-FS and Regional Rate Cash Program to stimulate sales and to promote all aging units to be retailed by the end of March 2024.” So if you were considering buying a new Ghost, don’t put it off until the second quarter. This is a Q1-only deal, so you better act fast.
