Oporto in Newtown and Darling Harbour in Sydney collapse into liquidation

The companies behind two Oporto locations in Sydney have collapsed

Jevnt Pty Ltd and Pymz Pty Ltd, the companies that operated Oporto Newtown and Oporto Darling Harbour, went into liquidation on Friday.

It was resolved at a meeting that the companies be wound up and liquidators be appointed. The restaurants at both locations have closed their doors.

The Newtown location is listed as ‘temporarily closed’ online.

The Oporto Darling Harbour location was located in the Harbourside Shopping Centre, which is undergoing redevelopment.

Tenants in the centre were asked to vacate the building in December 2022, and it was demolished a month later.

The liquidator has been contacted for comment.
