Netflix users in shock after discovering Nike Training Club free workout programs

Some Netflix users have been left surprised after learning about a mostly unknown feature that has been available to subscribers for over a year.

The streaming service revelation came about due to an Ask Reddit thread which posed the question: “What common product has a feature you’re not sure everyone is aware of?”.

One user replied, “Netflix has a fitness or exercise genre where you can watch and workout alongside videos”, which sent many other Reddit users into a tail spin.

“Holy s***. Why don’t they advertise that?,” one person wrote.

“WHAT! That’s great!,” another said.

“So close to subscribing to a workout app. Thanks for the tip!,” a third wrote.

Netflix released a series of Nike Training Club videos onto its platform in December 2022.

Nike Training Club is a health and fitness app which offers various workouts that can be done at home or at the gym as well as mindfulness, wellbeing and nutrition tips.

There are 20 programs on offer including Yoga, HIIT, upper-body workouts and 10-minute workouts.

The programs are available in multiple languages and can be accessed on all Netflix plans.

To access the feature, all Netflix users need to do is type “Nike” in the search bar.

One Reddit user who had used the feature before wrote that it had “changed my life”.

“(The videos are) the reason I practise yoga regularly now,” they said.

Another user said: “They (the workouts) are great. I did a ten-minute one five days ago and my muscles are still aching.”

“(I) plan to do three or four a week going forward and (there is) so many to choose from.”
