Coles and Woolworths recall Sunraysia Prune Juice after alcohol discovery

Bottles of prune juice sold across the country are being recalled after they were accidentally fermented, leading to the presence of alcohol.

Customers are urged not to drink the Sunraysia Prune Juice 1L, which has a best before date of December 4, 2025.

The juice was sold at Coles and Woolworths in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA and WA.

“The recall is due to unintended fermentation and the presence of alcohol,” Food Standards Australia New Zealand said.

Those who have purchased the juice are urged to stop using the product immediately and store them out of the reach of children.

Consumers can return their product to their place of purchase to receive a refund.
