My Kitchen Rules winner Janelle Halil visited The Morning Show kitchen on Tuesday, whipping-up some delicious Valentine’s Day cookies for viewers.
Joining Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur, The Sassy Sprinkles Cakery owner, made the mouth-watering treats.

Valentine’s Day cookies
Cookie dough:
200g caster sugar
225g softened salted butter
1 tsp vanilla paste
1 egg
450g plain flour
Icing:
Icing mixture
Lemon juice or water
Food colouring
Sprinkles to decorate
Method:
1. Cream the butter sugar and vanilla
2. Add the egg and mix
3. Add the flour and mix until combined
4. Chill in the fridge for at least an hour
5. Rollout cut into desired shapes
6. Bake at 170 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges
7. Allow to cool
8. Make icing mixture until desired consistency
9. Dip the cookies face-first into the icing and set on a wire rack
10. Decorate as desired
