Woolworths, Coles & ALDI Australia Day trading hours 2024: Your ultimate guide

The country’s leading supermarkets – Woolworths, Coles and ALDI – have released their trading hours for the Australia Day public holiday on January 26.

The lead-up to this year’s public holiday has been a controversial one given Woolworths and ALDI’s decision to dump Australia Day merchandise from all stores nationally.

Woolworths has since confirmed that most stores will be open across Australia on January 26 — however all metro stores in South Australia will be closed, as well as some regional stores in Queensland and WA (full details below).
