Two children among group miraculously unscathed when car flips over during Brighton Le Sands crash in Sydney’s south

A nine-year-old and an 11-year-old escaped unharmed after a car crash in Sydney’s south left their vehicle flipped on to its roof.

A Hyundai Getz and Toyota Corolla collided on General Holmes Dr at Brighton-Le-Sands about 10pm on Saturday, leaving the Toyota upside down on the road.

A 20-year-old Toyota passenger suffered an arm injury and was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.

The Toyota driver, a 19-year-old woman, was uninjured. The three others in the car — the two children and a 21-year-old — were also unhurt.

All four were taken to St George Hospital for assessment.

None of the occupants of the Hyundai were injured in the crash.
