Three hospitalised after head-on crash in Mount Pritchard, Sydney

Three people have been taken to hospital following a head-on crash in Sydney’s southwest on Tuesday night.

Emergency services were called to Townview Rd, Mount Pritchard after two cars collided, trapping two people inside the vehicles.

Firefighters worked through the night to free the passenger of a grey Kia, who was trapped for nearly an hour, and the driver of a blue Ford Escape, who was stuck for more than an hour.

The male passenger was treated for suspected spinal injuries, while the driver of the Kia suffered minor injuries.

The female driver of the Ford was treated for leg and spinal injuries.

All three were taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
