Spider-Man actor Tom Holland is making his West End return this summer starring in Romeo and Juliet.

Jamie Lloyd’s “pulsating new vision of William Shakespeare’s immortal tale of wordsmiths, rhymers, lovers and fighters” will run at the Duke of York’s Theatre for 12 weeks only.

The strictly limited season runs from May 11 to August 3, with further casting to be announced soon.

The director said today: “Tom Holland is one of the greatest, most exciting young actors in the world. It is an honour to welcome him back to the West End.”

A teaser below for the upcoming theatrical production displays the immortal words: “Violent delights have violent ends.”

The Jamie Lloyd company production is offering 10,000 tickets at £25 and under, with 5000 for under 30s, key workers, and government benefit recipients.

AGT+ members and signed-up individuals will have priority booking at 8am on Tuesday February 13, with general booking opening at 12pm that same day.
