As the A-listers, movers and shakers took to the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, across town Vogue Club’s most stylish and glamorous gathered for our annual Met Gala Livestream Watch Party.
Club members at The Whitby paid homage to this year’s theme, The Garden of Time. Think: delicate floral prints, 3D-embellished dresses pulled from storage or family archives, and endless head-turning accessories.
Just before the red carpet kicked off, Vogue’s Julia Hobbs toasted the assembled Vogue Club community—and highlighted the many events coming up on the calendar this season. (Up next: a members-only tour of the Costume Institute on May 14!)
Club members—cocktails and champagne in hand—merrily chatted through their favorite looks from this year’s Gala (did somebody say Zendaya is on the red carpet again?), taking the occasional break from their hot takes to have their portraits drawn by artist Rebecca Schneider.
