Rebel Wilson has drawn the ire of funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen after naming him as the Hollywood “a–hole” who was allegedly trying to stop her from writing about him in her upcoming memoir, Rebel Rising.

Last week, Wilson, 44, said she was planning to dedicate a whole chapter of her book to a “massive a–hole” she’d worked with in the past.

“When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, yeah, ‘I have a no-a–hole policy, (which) means like, yeah, I don’t work with a–holes.’ I was like, ‘Oh yeah. I mean, that sounds sensible or logical,’” Wilson said in an Instagram video. “But then it really sunk in (what people in the industry meant) because I worked with a massive a–hole and yeah, now I definitely have a no a–holes policy.”

Wilson added that the 23rd chapter of her book would name the so-called “a–hole.”

“That guy was a massive a–hole,” she said.

The Pitch Perfect star later returned to social media to claim that the “a–hole” was trying to stop her book from being released.

“I wrote about an a–hole in my book. Now, said a–hole is trying to threaten me,” Wilson said in a now-deleted Instagram Story, Us Weekly reported. “He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He is trying to stop press coming out about my book.”

In another post, Wilson named Baron Cohen, with whom she worked on the 2016 comedy The Brothers Grimsby, as the alleged “a–hole.

“I will not be bullied or silenced by high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. The ‘a–hole’ that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen,” she wrote.

Baron Cohen immediately fired back with reps for the actor telling Fox News Digital: “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.”

In the comedy, Wilson played the girlfriend of Cohen’s football hooligan character, who is forced to help save the world after he reconnects with his long-lost MI6 operative brother (played by Mark Strong).

In a 2016 interview with the British edition of Marie Claire, Wilson accused Baron Cohen of wanting her to film a nude scene for the film, which she flatly turned down.

“You want to know that the people (behind the camera) have a certain sensibility and decency,” Wilson said at the time. “And a lot of times in comedy they’re not those people.”

In 2014, Australia’s The Courier-Mail newspaper reported that Baron Cohen had asked Wilson to perform raunchy acts while they were in the midst of filming the movie.

“Every single day he’s like, ‘Rebel, can you just go naked in this scene?’ And I’m like, ‘No!’” she said during an interview with the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

“Every day he’s like, ‘Just go naked, it will be funny. Remember in Borat when I did that naked scene? It was hilarious.’ Then in the last scene … he was like, ‘Rebel can you just stick your finger up my butt?’ And I went, ‘What do you mean Sacha? That’s not in the script.’ And he’s like, ‘Look, I’ll just pull down my pants, you just stick your finger up my butt, it’ll be a really funny bit.’”

In a bid to stop him from bothering her, Wilson offered a compromise to the film’s leading man.

“You don’t wanna be a diva … I said, ‘I’ll slap you once on the butt and that’s it,’” she recounted.

With their feud now reaching a boiling point online, Wilson is promising fans that the book “WILL come out and you will all know the truth.”

According to her publisher’s website, Rebel Rising follows Wilson’s “incredible journey of ‘making it,’ constantly questioning, ‘Am I good enough? Will I ever find love? Will I ever change and become healthy?’”

The actress’s book will also address “the most personal and important moments in her life,” including her fertility issues, struggles with weight, overcoming rejection and “at least one story thrown in about Brad Pitt!”

Wilson’s book hits stores next month.
