Ryan Gosling called home after performance at Oscars: 'Put the kids to bed'

(WJW) – He brought the house down at the Oscars with an incredible rendition of “I’m Just Ken,” but Ryan Gosling isn’t just Ken. He’s also dad.

Ryan Gosling reprised his role as Ken for the Oscars Sunday night in a sparkly, pink choreographed spectacle that included legendary guitarist Slash.

The “I’m Just Ken” performance was epic, but it was just the beginning of Gosling’s night.

“We need to put the kids to bed,” wife Eva Mendes said to Gosling on social media after the star-studded affair.

Gosling and Mendes share two daughters under the age of 9.

While the Oscars may be a fun party, it’s not “Kenough” for dear old dad.

“You took Ken all the way to the Oscar’s, RG. Now come home,” Mendes wrote on social media.

The post accompanied a photo of the actress in a pink blazer and a cowboy hat.

Gosling was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Ken in the Barbie movie, but ultimately lost to Robert Downey Jr.

“I’m just Ken” didn’t win best original song, but the honor went to another Barbie original, “What Was I Made For?”
