Dressing up for the airport is very much a thing of the past (as is leg room, edible meals, and general civility). But while certain comforts have been stripped away, at least airport style is now all about prioritizing coziness—regardless of in-flight status.
Rihanna, ever the fashion vanguard, shows us just how cool cozy can be. The singer departed Aspen, Colorado, along with her partner A$AP Rocky and their two sons, RZA and Riot, in an outfit that miraculously checked all the travel-friendly boxes.
The Fenty Beauty founder wore a gray sweatsuit with cobalt blue stitching and a forest green beanie from Matek. Leaving the ski town, RiRi made her plane look après ski chic, adding a pair of cream-colored faux fur Moon Boots, accessorized with brown beaded, hiking boot-style laces, which retail for $369.
Rihanna added a fabulous flourish to her cozy look with a faux leopard print coat. Not only deeply on-trend for 2024, the calf-length outerwear adds a touch of luxury to a travel outfit. (A$AP Rocky, while he declined to wear a sweatsuit, also looked comfy in a pair of black carpenter pants with white contrast stitching and a gray puffer.)
The two were a part of the throng of Aspen-goers this holiday season. Hailey and Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Mariah Carey, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, and Nina Dobrev and Shaun White rounded out a star-studded cast of characters. We imagine that, like Rihanna, many of them retreated to Los Angeles in style as well.
