Quebec men charged after vehicle theft tools found during ONroute bust

Three Quebec men were arrested at a local ONroute station over the weekend and charged with various offences after allegedly being in possession of vehicle theft tools.

Durham Regional Police said a suspicious vehicle with no licence plates was spotted by an East Division officer on Sunday at about 3:40 a.m. at the ONroute complex on Hwy. 401 near Clarington. Three men were allegedly occupying a Cadillac SUV that they did not own and were also allegedly in possession of vehicle theft tools.

Adjinwa Fochine, 19, is charged with possessing an automobile master key, obstructing a peace officer and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.

Mohamed Souwmahoro, 18, is charged with possessing an automobile master key, obstructing a peace officer and failing to comply with a release order.

Johan Ramirez, 21, is charged with possessing an automobile master key.
