The “spiritual medium” claims he and his wife Jane, who live in Southampton, can see into the future.

The self-proclaimed psychic, dubbed “the new Nostradamus”, recently posted a series of predictions for the new year on his YouTube channel, with very specific details about what he sees happening in Australia.

From natural disasters to politics and even a new pandemic originating here, the Englishman said 2024 was going to be a rocky ride.

“I think after 2026 we’re going to see some very positive things starting to happen in the world, but up until then I feel it’s still a rocky path,” he declared.

Here’s a rundown of what Craig Hamilton-Parker predicts for Australia in 2024:

A new pandemic originating in Australia

Hamilton-Parker said that some time in the near future, a new pandemic will originate in Australia, but it’s not imminent.

“Not in 2024, but in the future I see another pandemic rising, out of Australia, a bacterial infection of some sort,” he said.

“The world will beat it, and it won’t be as big as COVID, but I see something that comes from Australia in the future.”

Rise in natural disasters

Hamilton-Parker predicts that several natural disasters will hit Australia this year, including bushfires, flooding and even a tsunami.

“I see fires around Canberra and I saw flooding around Tasmania,” he declared, adding that the bushfires in Canberra would be “quite big”.

“I also see something happening around the Great Barrier Reef, like an explosion or a collision, some damage done or an underground bomb, something like that,” he added.

“Does a submarine hit it?

“I’m just seeing something destructive happening there on a big scale, man-made, not just the usual pollution for this.”

Military moves

In a segment dedicated to predictions for Australia, Hamilton-Parker said he could foresee Australian troops being sent to The Philippines.

“This is going to be quite important, this is Australia building up its military resources with an eye to Taiwan, and possibly, in the future, a blockade of some of the shipping out of Indonesia,” he said.

“Australia starts to become more forthright and determined to change the world’s landscape a bit because they’ve been too much making compromises for too long, perhaps.”

He said the Australian navy would help to patrol the waters around Taiwan as tensions in the region escalated.

“Anything that happens in Taiwan, I feel Australia is going to be very much involved,” he said.

“Party to its peril, too, because it’s taking on China, but I feel it has to, and it will get support.”

No is not the end

The psychic predicted the No vote would prevail in the 2023 Referendum, but foresaw that the subject would “raise its head again” in 2024.

“The Indigenous vote happened, I made some predictions about that which happened,” he said.

“I said it would be a No vote, but that it would be looked at again,” he added, saying another vote may be held on the matter in the future.

“It’s going to raise its head again, put it that way.”

Albanese out

Hamilton-Parker also said Anthony Albanese would be shown the door as prime minister before the end of 2024.

“There will be a significant political shift in Australia,” he said.

“Anthony Albanese, I feel him going out of power before the end of 2024.

“Boom! He’s out, he’s gone, he’s going to go.”

Cost of living and the economy

Hamilton-Parker said the cost of living crisis would continue to impact food prices in Australia, but that overall the economy would be strong.

“Massive rises in food prices — there will be problems worldwide, but I get the sense that Australia’s economy is going to fare better,” he said.

“Australia will make some big advances in energy because energy is the big thing that drives economies, and I see Australia doing something with gas.

“I feel Australia is going to do pretty well, fare better than some of the other world economies.

“It won’t necessarily be an affluent time, but it’s not going to be hit by some of the problems.”

Immigration

Hamilton-Parker predicted Australia would see an influx of young people from other countries.

“Australia is going to allow more immigration into Australia, but there is going to be a caveat — if you want to join Australia you’ll first have to serve three years in the armed forces, or you’ll have to join the medical corps.

“You’ll have to be able to offer something that is good for the country, such as training or a degree.

“Unskilled labour will also come in from places other than the usual European sources …. I’m seeing people coming in from places like The Philippines, Indonesia and India.”
