Princess Beatrice wears designer floral dress but similar one sells for £33.60 | Royal | News

A fan of the fashion retailer – founded by model Susie Cave – Princess Beatrice has been seen wearing Susie’s creations on numerous occasions.

This time, however, the 35-year-old wore hers to a Talk the Future of Tech event on April 16, emphasising her femininity.

Pairing the “Veneration” Floral Print Silk-Charmeuse Midi Dress with Jimmy Choo “Romy 100” Burgundy Velvet Pumps, fans said the princess looked “beautiful”.

Another said: “She looks gorgeous.” While another Instagram user noted how “the fabric of the dress matches the velvet heels… and also the length of the dress is perfect”.

While The Vampire’s Wife dresses range in price from £595 to £2,195, a similar cut to the one Princess Beatrice wore can be found at SilkFred.

The dress is currently on sale for £33.60, but is much darker than the bright version worn by Princess Beatrice, although it does come in a variety of different coloured patterns.

Both dresses – the one by The Vampire’s Wife and SilkFred – feature a cuffed three-quarter length sleeve and high neck for an elegant touch.

To welcome the arrival of spring, floral prints are everywhere at the moment no matter which shops you peruse in.

If you would like a more traditional red and white ditsy print, then New Look are offering a pretty ruched midi dress for £27.99.

One happy shopper from Essex said: “An amazing find! Lovely soft material that’s so comfy and still very flattering.”

Being a petite size eight and 5ft 3”, the anonymous poster was chuffed with her new purchase.

Another reviewer said it’s a “pretty dress” but may be “too long for girls shorter than 5ft 3”.

A more detailed review came from so-proclaimed “Insect Bear” who wrote: “The body of the dress is a good fit.

“The straps are so stretchy, I think for comfort, but it means the bust goes really low as there’s no support there.”

The size 14, 5ft 5 reviewer added: “It probably works better for someone with an A or B cup size.

“For me, it means trying to find something to wear under so it won’t embarrass me. Nice print though.”

As for the Jimmy Choo “Romy 100” Burgundy Velvet Pumps, a more affordable stiletto heel can be bought in black from New Look for £25.99, which would pair well with the darker Blush And White Floral Print Tiered Dress With High Neck And 3/4 Smocked Sleeves In Black on SilkFred.
