A woman has been charged after stealing a doughnut truck in Sydney last month.
The Krispy Kreme delivery van was filled with 10,000 doughnuts and reportedly on the way to sites in Newcastle, when it was stolen from a Carlingford service station, in Sydney’s northwest on November 29.
“Our Krispy Kreme team is working to replace the 10,000 stolen doughnuts, which are handmade fresh each day, at their intended destinations,” supply chain head Lenny Reddy said at the time.

The doughnuts on board were a mix of Christmas-themed doughnuts as well as classics.
Police confirmed they located the vehicle abandoned at a carpark in Parramatta on Friday December 8.
The doughnuts, however, were destroyed.
“About 11am (Thursday), officers attached to Police Transport Command arrested a 28-year-old woman at St Marys Railway Station,” a police spokesperson said.
The woman was taken to Penrith Police Station where she was charged with a number of offences.
The woman was refused bail and is set to appear before Penrith Local Court on Thursday.
