Pink wasn’t going to let that one go through to the keeper.

“Yes, although I don’t feel old, and I still get to wear a leotard to work,” she wrote back.

“Growing older is actually my first ‘grateful’ every day.

“What a blessing to have life, years.

“To be this strong, to be able to still p*** off complete strangers just by existing.

“F*** yeah times 44!”

Fans loved her response.

“Getting older is a blessing and you are absolutely stunning!!!” one fan wrote.

Others couldn’t believe the comment was made in the first place.

“It’s almost like people age as time goes on?” one person said.

“Pink still sings 95 per cent of living people under the table and puts on one of the best live shows in the industry,” wrote another.

“Keep getting old Pink, you’re still killing the game.”

“She looks great. Also? This woman can sing high octave songs while performing acrobats forty feet in the air and she doesn’t miss a note,” a third shot back.

“And you’re worried about lines on her face? Get a life – and a photo. Thanks!”

One fan said that apart from getting older, she also “got rich, very very rich, from working hard and being a decent human”.

“She’s also a fantastic mum and a strong role model for women,” they added.

“Cope.”

It’s not the first time Pink has hit back against ageism.

In 2018, at the ripe age of 38, the So What singer slammed a critic who made fun of her appearance and called her “old”.

“You must be from LA,” she wrote back.

“Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally.

“And I’ve earned every f***ing minute of my 38 years.

“How you looking though?

“Cause I never heard of you till you put my name in your mouth.

“I shall call you little purple troll.”

The same year, Pink shared her philosophy about ageing in a Twitter post.

“I am of the mindset that it’s a blessing to grow old,” she wrote.

“That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you’ve laughed a lot.

“I pray I look older in 10 years, ‘cause that will mean I’m alive.”

Fans loved that post too, congratulating her on her healthy approach to getting older.

Her tweet was liked by more than 81,000 people, attracting more than 2000 comments.

“THANK YOU,” one person wrote.

“Queen of aging gracefully and ending haters and age shamers,” added another.

“I pray to god I’m as great as you are when I’m twice your age even.”

“I have friends that didn’t live to see 30,” shared one fan.

“I’m 48 and consider it such a blessing; every wrinkle, every pound – every day we wake is a gift.

“Some didn’t make it.

“Some would kill to have our wrinkles, to age, to be ALIVE!”

Added another: “As my mother-in-law would say: ‘Get old or die young.’ I’d rather get old.”
