NSW Police share fresh appeal over home invasion in Campbelltown

Two young men armed with machetes have broken into a home in Sydney’s southwest, with police appealing for information to help catch them.

The men, armed with machetes, forced their way into a home on Chamberlain St, Campbelltown, just before 3.40pm on December 28, 2023.

They threatened the residents before stealing a number of belongings and running off, police said.

Officers later arrested a 21-year-old man who was driving a Kia hatchback, however, he was released without any charges.

Police have now launched a fresh appeal for information, releasing CCTV vision of two men on Thursday morning.

The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early to mid-20s, about 195cm tall with a solid build.

The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early to mid-20s, about 175cm tall with a thin build.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
