Nothing Phone launches in Australia with JB Hi-Fi

London-based technology company Nothing has announced a partnership with JB Hi-Fi to launch two of its phones in the Australian market.

This collaboration will officially introduce the Nothing Phone (2a) and flagship Phone (2) in the country. Both models will be available for purchase at all JB Hi-Fi stores from April 11, 2024.

The comprehensive range of Nothing products, including the Phone (2) and Phone (2a), will be available for both online purchase and in-store shopping at most JB Hi-Fi outlets across Australia.

Customers eager to be among the first to own the latest devices can pre-order now through the JB Hi-Fi website.

JB Hi-Fi Australia managing director Cameron Trainor expressed excitement about the partnership, stating: “We are delighted to be the inaugural Australian retailer to join forces with Nothing. This partnership underscores our commitment to providing customers with the latest in technological innovations.”

Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis echoed Trainor’s comments, saying: “We are thrilled to collaborate with JB Hi-Fi to debut our product line-up to their dedicated customer base, offering them the opportunity to explore Nothing’s innovative products firsthand across Australia.”

The Nothing Phone (2) and Phone (2a) will be available for purchase at 110 JB Hi-Fi stores nationwide as well as online.

The pricing for the models is as follows:

Phone (2)

  • 12GB/256GB — $999
  • 12GB/512GB — $1,099

Phone (2a)

  • 8GB/128GB — $529
  • 12GB/256GB — $599

Nothing’s partnership with JB Hi-Fi represents a significant milestone in the UK company’s expansion efforts, further solidifying its presence in the global technology market.
