A bomb threat sparked a police operation at the University of Sydney on Friday.
Students and staff were evacuated from multiple buildings at the campus on City Rd in Camperdown about 2pm, with an exclusion zone established.
University newspaper Honi Soit reported that Fisher Library, the New Law Building and the Abercrombie Business School were evacuated.

The operation has since concluded, with at least the Fisher Library now reopened.
Students were reportedly told while exiting the library that it was a preplanned drill, though it has since been confirmed as a bomb threat.
Residents of campus accommodations were asked about 4pm to go to their rooms and “not leave the building or use any common areas for 10 minutes”, Honi Soit reported.

Protests on campus ongoing
NSW Police would not comment on whether the threat is related in any way to students currently involved in a pro-Palestine encampment on campus.
Honi Soit reported that “some students on the Quad lawns were also instructed to move to the other side of the lawn to maintain a safe distance from the Library”.
Students set up a camp on the Quad on Tuesday, supporting similar protests at universities in the US in response to police action at Columbia University in New York.
Law enforcement deployed Tasers and tear gas against student protesters at Atlanta’s Emory University at the behest of college administrators, Jewish Voice for Peace activists said.
Elsewhere, officers clad in riot gear and mounted on horseback swept away demonstrations at the University of Texas in Austin.
Overall, more than 530 arrests have been made in the last week across major US universities in relation to protests over Gaza, according to a Reuters tally.
Human Rights Watch and the American Civil Liberties Union have condemned the arrest of protesters and urged authorities to respect their free speech rights.
Protesters have vowed to keep the protests going until their universities agree to disclose and divest any financial holdings that might support the war in Gaza, and grant amnesty to students suspended from school during the demonstrations.
Student protesters have also demanded that the US government rein in Israeli strikes on civilians in Gaza, which have killed more than 34,000 people, according to Palestinian health authorities.
The University of Sydney has redirected media inquiries to NSW Police.
