There’s nothing better than ripping into a bag of lollies when you need a sweet fix to get over the afternoon slump.
And these days, there are plenty to choose from, whether you’re into sour snakes, jelly babies or Haribo.
But it turns out you’ve been opening the bag wrong this whole time, and the correct way to do so is leaving everyone mind-blown.

Food and domestic expert, Anna Antonje, from Germany, revealed exactly how you need to open the lollies in order to get into the share bags correctly.
Anna was shocked to discover the hack after seeing someone else share how they open a bag of Haribo and captioned her video shared on Instagram: “Don’t tell me you knew that?!”
She then filmed herself opening the Haribo, revealing she was stunned by how easy it was.
So how should you be opening your Haribo bags?
Instead of attempting to split the sides of the packet apart, you need to take a hold of the small tab at the top and then pull it down.
This should make a neat and tidy tear all the way down the bag, which you can then re-seal up if you don’t eat all the lollies.
Anna wasn’t the only one shocked by this hack, with her video receiving more than 75 million views.
People in the comments were left in disbelief.
