Man allegedly stabbed at North Turramurra, Sydney house party identified

A man has fronted court, accused of stabbing two other men during a house party on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

The two men were taken to hospital after the 2am incident on Sunday, leaving behind a bloody scene on Stephanie Pl, North Turramurra.

7NEWS understands Matthew Harper, 31, was hosting a party when he and his 28-year-old guest were allegedly attacked.

Harper suffered a stab wound to his leg, while the other man suffered stab wounds on his back, torso and arm.

They were both treated at the scene and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.

A third man, 30, was found with facial injuries and arrested, NSW Police said. He was also taken to hospital, under police guard.

Upon his release he was arrested and taken to Chatswood Police Station, where he was charged with reckless wounding, wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.

He fronted Hornsby Court House on Monday, where he was refused bail.
