In terms of design, the Thar Earth Edition closely resembles the regular Thar model, but it boasts exclusive features such as the Desert Fury satin matte paint, dune-inspired decals on the rear fender and doors, Earth Edition badges on the B-pillars, matte black badges, and 17-inch silver alloy wheels. Inside the vehicle, there is a dual-tone black and light beige theme, with dune designs on the headrests, Thar branding on the doors, and dark chrome accents throughout. The AC vents, centre console, and steering wheel also feature Desert Fury-colored inserts. Each unit of the Thar Earth Edition will come with a unique numbered decorative VIN plate.
Customers have the option to personalize their Thar Earth Edition with additional accessories such as custom front and rear armrests, floor mats, and a comfort kit. The SUV is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The diesel variant is equipped with a 2.2-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine that produces 130PS of power and 300Nm of torque, while the petrol variant is powered by a 2.0-liter, turbo-petrol engine that delivers 150PS of power and 320Nm of torque. Both engine options are paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
