Logitech G Astro A50 X review: multi-console clarity | Gaming | Entertainment

The Logitech G Astro A50 X gaming headset is an absolute joy to game in – whether you’re a PC gamer or a PS5 and Xbox player. The A50 X’s audio quality is stunning when you put it on with the ability to mix your game and voice chat depending on the situation.

Switching between PC and our PS5 was extremely easy and can be switched at the touch of a button.

Build quality-wise, the Astro A50 X can look flimsy compared to some other gaming headphones but during our test nothing flexed or creaked unnecessarily, but we can see how the look of the headset can put some people off.

One thing we noticed while setting up our device for the PS5, the process was fiddly and anyone considering buying the A50 X for the PS5 will want to get another HDMI 2.1 cable. However, once it was set up, there were no problems with the HDMI 2.1 passthrough, and we were able to play with 4K and at 120hz.

Microphone quality is crisp and clear with no one else having any issues with what we were communicating but at a price of £359, you might be forgiven to look elsewhere.
