A popular Kmart sleepwear set has been urgently recalled over safety concerns.

The Little Boys Sleep Twosie in dino design does not comply with the requirements of the mandatory safety standard for nightwear for children.

If exposed to a heat or a flame source, the pyjamas pose a serious risk of burn injuries — but the pyjamas do not contain the correct fire hazard label.

The pyjamas were sold nationally, internationally and online from February 5 to February 26.

Customers should immediately stop children from wearing the pyjamas and return the product in-store for a refund.
