Kmart fan’s easy tile cleaning hack goes viral

An Australian homeowner has revealed how she transformed her floors using a cult Bunnings buy and a nifty Kmart gadget.

The woman shared a video on social media, revealing how she cleaned her floor tile grout using Kmart’s electronic long handed scrubbing brush.

In the video, the homeowner — who uses the handle @sarahleenheers — sprays long life grout cleaner, available from Bunnings, directly on the grout.

She then uses the $39 electric Kmart brush — with unbelievable results.

“If you have tiles, you need this scrubber from Kmart!” she said in the video.

The woman went on to say she’d been quoted hundreds to clean her floors — but had now done it for a fraction of the cost.

“I’m shocked! Kmart, love your work!” she added.

“We moved into our new house and the floors needed some TLC. I was quoted over $600, but I did it for about $40!

“If you have tiles, you NEED this.”

The Kmart buy comes with three different brush attachments, a rechargeable battery and an 85cm handle. It has a one-hour run time.

The video has been watched over 360,000 times.

Many viewers said the long life grout cleaner (from Bunnings) was the unsung hero of the transformation.

“That grout cleaner is fantastic — works with a toothbrush,” said one.

Another added: “Put the stuff in an empty tomato sauce bottle — game changer.”

A third wrote: “That grout cleaner is awesome, been using it for ages, and you don’t need any fancy tools to scrub with because it works so well.”
