Just Go With It and All My Children actor Alec Musser’s cause of death revealed

American actor Alec Musser, who died on January 12, took his own life, it has been revealed.

The death of 50-year-old Musser, who appeared in 43 episodes of the soap opera All My Children from 2005, was ruled a suicide by the San Diego County Medical Examiner.

The actor also appeared in the 2011 rom-com movie Just Go With It and had a bit part in the hit TV series Desperate Housewives in 2012.

At the time of his death, Musser’s fiancée Paige Press wrote on social media: “RIP to the love of my life. I will never stop loving you.

“My heart is so broken.

“Today is the worse day of my life. You were the best fiancé I could have ever asked for.”

Musser gained the role of Del Henry on All My Children after appearing in the second season of reality TV show, I Wanna Be a Soap Star, which pitted actors against each other in competition for a place in the cast.

In 2010, he appeared in the Adam Sandler movie Grown Ups. He featured in a scene with stars Salma Hayek and Maya Rudolph.

“I loved this guy. Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man,” Sandler tweeted after the news broke.

Musser also appeared in Desperate Housewives as a masseur, and modelled for the fashion label Abercrombie & Fitch.

He has worked as a fitness model throughout his career.
