How to watch LIV Golf in 2024 live and free on 7plus

LIV Golf returns for another season as the 2024 tour tees off in tropical Mexico on Saturday morning live and free on 7plus.

2023 Masters champion Jon Rahm has made the switch, forfeiting his place on the PGA Tour to captain the brand-new Legion XIII GC team. The 29-year-old Spaniard was initially against signing with LIV Golf when they formed in 2022.

Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII team will feature an additional three debutants.

World No.16 Tyrrell Hatton is another big name making the switch from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf along with America’s Caleb Surratt and Kieran Vincent from Zimbabwe (brother of Iron Heads GC’s Scott Vincent).

The team had to make one change for the 2024 season after Jed Morgan was relegated at the conclusion of the 2023 tour.

Bendigo’s Lucas Herbert takes his place alongside fellow Aussies Marc Leishman and Matt Jones.

The 28-year-old is currently ranked 69th in the world however is considered one of the best prospects in Australian men’s golf in recent years, sitting in the rankings only behind Jason Day (18), Min Woo Lee (37), Cameron Davis (45) and Adam Scott (49).

2023 championship contender Talor Gooch was one of the biggest names to switch teams during the off-season, leaving the eye-catching RangeGoats GC for Brooks Koepka’s Smash GC. The duo fought for the individual championship in 2023 and will become a force to be reckoned with as they work together in both the teams’ and individual championship in 2024. Koepka, a five-time major winner, is a fan favourite and an omnipresent force in the world of golf.
