A frantic search is underway for two young men missing from Sydney’s eastern suburbs, after their bloody belongings were found in a skip bin.
NSW Police attended a Paddington home about 1pm on Wednesday after possessions belonging to Luke Davies, 29, and former TV presenter Jesse Baird, 26, were found in a skip bin in Cronulla about 11am that same day.
Police believe “there has been some sort of incident that had more than likely occurred at the Paddington address,” detective superintendent Jodi Radmore said.

“There’s been blood found at both locations — both the Paddington address and in the bin at Cronulla.”
Police do not know who the blood belongs to at this stage.
A phone, keys and credit cards were among the possessions found in the skip bin.
Officers immediately declared a crime scene after entering the Paddington home, which is Baird’s residence, on Wednesday.
Soon after, police attended Davies’ home in Waterloo.
The men have not been located and police are treating their disappearances as suspicious.
All lines of inquiry are open, Radmore said.
“We’re not excluding any lines of inquiry, we are investigating everything we can,” she said.
She confirmed witnesses have described a verbal argument at the Paddington home on Monday morning but it wasn’t reported to police at the time.
Nothing suspicious was found at Davies’ Waterloo home. A number of cars have been seized.
Police could not immediately locate Baird’s next of kin, resulting in the delay in his identity being released.
Radmore said they have grave concerns for both men.
Davies is of Caucasian appearance and 170cm-175cm tall with a medium build, brown hair and brown eyes.
Baird is of Caucasian appearance and 180cm-185cm tall with a muscular build, brown hair and brown eyes.
The couple were last seen in Paddington on Monday however no details are available about what they were wearing at the time.
Davies’ family have not been in contact with him since that time, and he has not been at work.
Davies has most recently worked as a flight attendant with Qantas. He has also worked as a flight attendant for Virgin Australia.
Baird worked at Channel 10 for about seven years, with his LinkedIn profile indicating he left the network in January.
He worked as a presenter and reporter on shows including Totally Wild and Studio 10.
Anyone with information about the men’s disappearance is urged to contact police.
