Coles has confirmed the limited edition collectable that is on offer as part of its new Pokémon Builders promotion.
From now, customers can collect a free Pokémon Coles Builder character with every $30 spent in one transaction at Coles supermarkets and Coles Online.
There are 35 characters to collect, and shoppers can pick up bonus collectables when they purchase a range of selected products from participating brands (see full list below).

But it has now emerged that collectors should also keep an eye out for one rare Pokémon Builders – featuring Mythical Pokémon Mew and the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo.
The limited edition collectable was spotted by eagle-eyed mum who received the prized Builder during a recent shop.
“Has Coles messed up or am I missing something? I got Mew and Mewtwo card but can’t find it on the page to tick off?” the shopper asked on the Coles Pokémon Builders & All Woolworths & Coles Collections Swap Group Facebook page.
Enthusiasts were quick to respond, predicting that she’d stumbled across a rare Builder.
“It’s a limited edition one!” one responded.
Another said: “That’s a rare one!”
In previous supermarket campaigns, rare collectables released during various Coles and Woolworths promotions have sold for top dollar on buy, swap and sell sites.
During the Woolworths’ Lion King Ooshie promotion, one collector bid $100,000 for the ultra-rare furry Simba on eBay.
Another collector sold a Woolworths Furry The Child Ooshie on eBay for $99,900 in 2020 – but later admitted she only received $1000 for the item.
Other rare minis have regularly attracted $10,000 price tags during promotion periods, and full collections are also sought after by collectors.
Coles says the new limited edition collectable is now available.
“As part of the Coles Builders Pokémon Edition collection, there is one limited-edition two-character-in-one Builder, featuring the Mythical Pokémon Mew and the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo,” the spokesperson said.
“With their unique abilities and powerful presence, both Mew and Mewtwo are icons in the Pokémon world and these Psychic-type Pokémon will captivate fans in this unique Builder.”
