Cowboy boots aren’t going anywhere, as far as Emily Ratajkowski is concerned. The model broke out her tried and true beige suede Sonora boots for a stroll in New York City this morning.
While cowboy boots appeared on the style horizon in 2022, EmRata seems to have no interest in the trend cycle’s dictates. The author and podcaster previously wore the Westernwear this past summer, when she leaned into the boho moment, pairing them with a black cowl neck halter top and a paisley silk maxi skirt.
When it came to the rest of her look, Ratajkowski took advantage of the blustery New York City winds, wearing a flowing black maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit—perfect for showing off her footwear. She paired it with a matching black crop top, and an oversized leather jacket. On the accessories front, she added a pair of black sunglasses and a quilted black Chanel bag worn, and—in a boho touch—tied a string choker with a red stone pendant around her neck.
EmRata isn’t the only cowboy boot defender. Last month, Katie Holmes took to the streets of New York clad in white Partlows. While Ratajkowski opted for a more eclectic, boho look with her dynamic maxi skirt and cord necklace, Holmes stayed closer to traditional styling, wearing hers with blue bootcut jeans and a double-breasted camel coat. So whether you’d prefer to wear your Western footwear like Emily Ratajkowski or Katie Holmes, saddle up your horses, because cowboy boots aren’t going anywhere in 2024.
