Dua Lipa and Seth Meyers Got Matching Tattoos in Front of a Live Audience — See Photos

When you think of the kinds of people who get matching tattoos, you probably (and understandably) think of best friends or couples — people who want to make a permanent mark that represents their special relationship and creates an unspoken yet eternal bond. Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz have done it, as have Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, which makes total sense. Not quite as likely to get inked together forever: a pop star and a late-night talk show host that recently became unlikely day-drinking buddies. And yet, here we are, witnessing Dua Lipa and Seth Meyers getting matching tattoos — and in front of a live audience, no less.

Lipa was a guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers for the second time in less than a month. In December, she and Meyers went to a bar for an absolutely ridiculous day of drinking games, but this time, she appeared in the studio, where the ridiculousness continued. And by ridiculousness, I mean they turned a Barbie Dream House into a shot luge. And while the delivery system was impractical, the shots themselves served an arguably practical purpose for Meyers: courage to get his very first tattoo. But not until after Lipa got the very same tattoo first.

“Alright, we’re going to get matching tattoos. We are, but I’ve never gotten a tattoo before. So we’re just going to do a solitary dot,” Meyers said, but that idea was immediately quashed by Lipa, who convinced him to get a tiny star instead.

Lipa was a champ as she got her latest of more than 20 tattoos, discussing whether or not she’s judge a guy if he had a Snoopy tattoo. (For the record, she’s more likely to take issue with a tattoo of an ex’s name than of the famous cartoon dog.) And after what seemed like mere seconds, the tattoo artist had completed the adorable, little black star on her ankle.
