Conserving Beauty launches two new products: Shoppers prepare to stock up on the dissolving sheet mask and zit strips

Australian skincare company Conserving Beauty rose to fame during Covid with a pack of dissolving makeup wipes.

Both sustainable and good for your skin, the brand is now stocked in Mecca stores, with founder Natassia Nicolao expanding her range of waterless beauty solutions into two further products.

The recently launched Thirsty Face Dissolving Sheet Masks ($16) are described as a “literal” drink for your skin in one easy to use dissolving sheet mask.

Packed with the hydration dream team of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide (Vitamin B3), panthenol (Vitamin B5) and glycerin — this dissolving sheet mask also boasts bladderwrack and camellia sinensis extracts for a splash of antioxidants and skin soothing.

Thirsty Face, as it is called, is a power-packed treatment to help reset tired, dry and dull skin.

It’s the perfect antidote to a long-haul flight and can be left on for a minimum of 10 minutes or a maximum of 30 minutes.

When you’re finished with it, simply watch it disappear when you pop it in the shower, sink or toilet.

Now keenly in the business of outdoing themselves the team at Conserving Beauty has also developed the first dissolving “zit strips”.

Featuring nanoDOTE technology, the blemish-fighting formula in the brand’s $28 Zit Strips instantly dissolves into skin when activated with water.

The result? A hyper-targeted hit of actives including salicylic acid, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to penetrate deeply and help reduce the appearance of blemishes.

Both products have so far proven themselves to be hugely competitive in the beauty space.

“I LOVE beauty products. I try so many new things and am constantly shocked and appalled by the excessive packaging most brands use,” one woman wrote.

“Firstly, I love that Conserving Beauty are so light on packaging and that it’s all home compostable.

“Secondly, the results speak for themselves. I get hormonal breakouts around my chin and jawline, inflamed and red and they usually take ages to heal.

“I used small pieces of these patches only twice and saw visible improvements. Within 24 hours I saw visible improvements, less redness, less swelling and almost healed. So fab! Will be purchasing again and recommending to everyone I know!”

“I am in my early 40s and have been suffering from some hormonal breakouts around my chin. I have been very self conscious about it and was literally booked into see a derm when I was gifted this product,” said another woman.

“Honestly, I love these. For me the fact that they actually work (for me in two treatments), plus they are super-sized so I can treat the entire area has been awesome. Needless to say I cancelled my derm appointment as my skin seems back under control.”
