Casting call for local actors issued as Netflix set to film new television series on Isle of Mull in Argyll

A casting call for local actors has been put out for a new Netflix TV series set to be filmed in Argyll and Bute.

Filming is due to begin in May and June on the Isle of Mull for the streaming giant’s new show, and actors can earn up to £280 per day.

Extra People, who have been involved in the production of hit shows such as Ted Lasso and The Crown as well as popular film Saltburn, put out the call for local artists.

The name of the series has not been confirmed.

No experience is necessary but interested applicants must be 16 years or over and be “early risers” with a “professional attitude”.

Depending on hours worked, approximately £130 to £280 per day will be paid plus £16 to £20 travel costs per day.
