Billy Joel is making the most of his final Madison Square Garden shows, including taking the opportunity to serenade ex-wife Christie Brinkley.
Joel, who announced the 150th — and final — concert of his MSG residency would be on July 25, performed Uptown Girl during a show last Friday.

Brinkley, the partial inspiration behind the 1983 hit, was shown on the jumbotron, smiling and dancing along to the song.
Joel, 74, was inspired by Brinkley and then-girlfriend Elle Macpherson while writing the tune.

Brinkley and Joel were married from 1985 to 1994. Brinkley famously appeared in the Uptown Girl music video.
They share a daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, 38, who also hopped onstage to sing with her dad on Friday, teaming to perform To Sir With Love and Say Goodbye to Hollywood.
About a decade ago, Brinkley sat in the front row at a concert along with another former husband, Peter Cook, and her daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, 25.

Joel has been married to Alexis Roderick, 41, since 2015. They share two daughters.
“I’m kind of flabbergasted that it lasted as long as it did,” Joel said of his MSG residency. “My team tells me that we could continue to sell tickets, but 10 years, 150 shows — all right already!”
Joel initially performed at the arena on Dec. 14, 1978. Hew later set the record for most consecutive performances by any artist (12) in 2006 (a record he’s since broken).
He will next hit the stage at MSG on May 9, and again on June 8 before the final show on July 25.
