At least 10 people involved in crash on Parramatta Rd at Five Dock in Sydney’s inner west

At least ten people are being assessed by paramedics following a multi-vehicle crash on a major road in Sydney’s inner west.

It is believed up to five cars, and a truck, were involved in the crash, at Parramatta Rd and Great North Rd in Five Dock.

The vehicles crashed about 4.30pm on Friday.

Multiple NSW Ambulance crews are on scene. Some patients have been taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and Westmead Hospital.

All lanes of Parramatta Rd were briefly closed between Frederick St in Ashfield and Harris Rd in Five Dock, but westbound lanes have since reopened.

All eastbound lanes of Parramatta Rd remain closed.

Great North Rd is also closed between Queens Rd and Parramatta Rd.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
