A former FBI agent who investigated the shocking 1996 slaying of rapper Tupac Shakur believes the recent sex-trafficking raids on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs mansions could be linked to that crime.

Retired head of the Los Angeles field office Phil Carson told the Daily Mail that suspected Shakur murder accomplice Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis may have flipped on Diddy, 54, to save his own skin.

The Shakur hit in Las Vegas had gone cold for decades until last year when longtime gangbanger Davis was busted. He has claimed Diddy ordered the $1-million hit as part of the East Coast-West Coast 1990s rap rivalry.

Rival Biggie Smalls was also iced in the war.

Now, facing down the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison, Davis, 60, may be ready to spill the beans.

“It’s not like the olden days of the Italian Mafia where everybody kept their mouth shut,” Carson told the Mail. “As soon as somebody has handcuffs on them, they’ll sell out their own mom now.”

“Keefe’s arrested, and that’s a game-changer because they have something over him. And that’s when he may start spilling his guts. He’s an OG from out here. He’s rubbed shoulders with a lot of the big shots. Every one of those guys has a story to tell about how the streets were run back then.”

Carson added: “So who’s to say Keefe didn’t start throwing stuff out there that he hasn’t talked about before, to potentially save his a–? That’s not to say it’s the reason federal law enforcement executed these warrants on Diddy’s house.”

“But it would be interesting to know what the evidence is, and where that evidence came from, that they put in these affidavits to get both these search warrants. It’s got to be something of substance.”

After he was busted in 2008, Davis also claimed to detectives that Diddy offered him another $1 million to rub out Suge Knight, boss of Death Row Records.

Davis told cops that on Sept. 7, 1996, he and his crew pulled alongside Shakur and Knight on the Vegas Strip. He gave his nephew, Orlando Anderson, a Glock and he began shooting into Shakur’s BMW.

On Monday, the walls began closing in on Diddy with the sex-trafficking raids.

Law enforcement sources have said the raids were triggered by a growing list of lawsuits targeting Diddy for sex and drug crimes.

In November, he settled out of court with his longtime mistress R&B singer Cassie Ventura, 37, who claimed he raped her and forced her to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed.

Four other women — and one man — have also made similar claims against the I’ll Be Missing You singer. One alleged victim came forward in December accusing Diddy and his entourage of gang-raping her when she was 17 years old.

Former Diddy employee, producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, claimed in his lawsuit that in 2022-23 he was forced to “solicit sex workers and perform sex acts to the pleasure of Mr. Combs.”

Jones claimed underage girls were present at wild sex parties at his mansions in Los Angeles, Miami and New York as well as on a rented yacht in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

For years, Diddy has appeared to be made of Teflon and has stayed one step ahead of the law.

“Other people carried out acts for him and he kept his hands clean,” an insider alleged to the New York Post on Friday.

Rapper Mark Curry added: “He’s surrounded by movers and shakers. When you think of the music industry … a lot of illegal things go on behind closed doors. He took advantage of a lot of people who had dreams.”

The investigation has also triggered comparisons to billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his socialite muse Ghislaine Maxwell. The twisted twosome moved underage girls around the globe for the sexual satisfaction of themselves and their friends.

One source alleged Diddy’s Ghislaine Maxwell is his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram. Jones’ complaint claims Diddy always kept at least two women on his payroll solely for sex.

In Jones’ amended complaint, Khorram is called the “Ghislaine Maxwell to Sean Combs’ Jeffrey Epstein,” who allegedly “ordered sex workers and prostitutes for him.”

In addition, the suit claims Khorram forced his domestic workers to wear a “fanny pack filled with cocaine, GHB, ecstasy,” whatever Diddy wanted to indulge in.

She joined Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment as a senior executive in 2013. She later became manager for Diddy, the “director, office of the chairman” of Combs Enterprise. In 2020, she was appointed as Combs’ chief of staff.

Combs’ lawyers have denied the allegations, calling Jones a “liar.”
