Teurn Studios Resort 2025 Collection

Recently named creative lead at Filippa K, Anna Teurnell has channeled her vaguely preppy leanings there and gone on a rave at her namesake line. The opening look of her resort is a pair of many-strapped roomy pants worn with a shirt in the same whisper gray linen. You might say the designer backed into this inspiration; a fan of Japanese and Korean blogs “where people have quite extreme style sort of threw me back into the rave scene,” she said. A generously proportioned black sweatsuit had a lot of attitude. Teurnell has a knack for making small tweaks to silhouettes that have a big impact.

Still attracted to volume, the designer wants to simultaneously have slimmer fits as an option; hence a perfect pair of white jeans with long legs that can be scrunched up over reptile-print mules. A number of the pieces in the collection are repeats that have been reimagined, like the buttery suede tunic with matching pants in “cardamom” brown. (This spice is the secret ingredient in many mouthwatering Swedish baked goods.)

More piquant are an A-line skirt with slits and a cap-shouldered dressmaker’s top, both in a tapioca-color leather, though these pieces are stiff in a way that feels out of sync with the rest of the offering which delivers elegance with a built-in slouch. Overall, Teurnell has made the kind of clothes that look polished but like you didn’t try that hard—which for many, is modern fashion’s grail.
