- 4 tbls salt
- 2 tbls sugar
- 2 tbls pepper
- 2.5 tbls garlic powder
- 1 tbls onion powder
- 2.5 tbls mustard powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder optional
Apply oil across the surface of the shank to help bind the Rub to the surface of the meat. Then rub the spice rub across the surface of the shank.
Thors hammercooking in oven:
- 30-40mins in oven tray on 190c
- Add 1.5ltr-2ltr chicken or beef stock
- Cover with baking paper & foilreduce oven to 160c & cook for 4 hours or until internal temp reaches 94c
MAc’n’CHEESERECIPE
- 3 cups or 750ml white sauce
- 1 cup smoked streaky bacon cooked & chopped
- 1 cup jack cheddar
- 1/2 cup parmesanpinch nutmeg
- 1 tsp smoky paprika
- 1/2 tsp mustard powdersalt & pepper to taste
Add 250g macaroni cooked as per packet instructions
- Heat white sauce
- Add bacon, cheese and spices, stir until cheese is melted and spices combined
- Add macaroni and season to taste
