On a quintessential New York evening inside The Waverly Inn’s enchanting garden patio, Zoë Kravitz and Jessica McCormack hosted an intimate soiree to celebrate the announcement of Kravitz as the brand’s first-ever ambassador.
The London-based diamond jeweler and the New York-based multihyphenate powerhouse were longtime friends before becoming partners. Kravitz gushed about the collaboration: “There’s something different when you really love the brand and the person, and it feels like a human connection.”
Guests twinkling in the brands’ jewels included Abbey Lee, Moses Sumney, Ilana Glazer, and Andrew Mukamal. McCormack and Kravitz cultivated a fête of close-knit friendship and collaboration, a testament to their organic partnership—it was an evening embodying the idea that diamonds are a girls’ best friend.
Post cocktail hour (which consisted of much oohing and aahing over the pieces dripping down guests’ ears, necklines, and wrists), dinner was served – and each dish was properly accessorized to honor the occasion. Chilled jumbo gulf shrimp accompanied by mini Tabasco bottles, Mac and cheese wearing a generous truffle shaving, and the Apple Rhubarb crumble donning an ice cream cap were some highlights.
The featured collection showcases Day Diamonds, McCormack’s heirloom-inspired jewelry designed to be worn and passed down to generations. Kravitz noted the sentimental value of the jewelry, stating, “It’s something that becomes a part of you, especially when you invest in something. That’s what’s so great about her jewelry – it’s not something you can only wear to an event once a year. Her pieces really become a part of you.”
McCormack takes immense pride in the integrity of the brands’ timelessness, noting, “I have 18-year-old clients and I have clients that are 80, and they’re wearing the same thing. It’s a throughline between generations.”
The campaign’s launch coincides with Jessica McCormack signing a lease on a space on Madison Avenue, New York, as the brand prepares to open its first store outside of the UK in the first half of 2025.
