Naturally, Women In Film, the Los Angeles advocacy organization offering resources for women in Hollywood, has a way of bringing out the stars for an event. Last night, kicking off Oscar weekend, the organization invited a number of guests to pack out a swanky steak lounge, and there were plenty of familiar faces around the crowd.

Packed isn’t a word used lightly to describe the event, a shoulder-to-shoulder situation that implied the party was the place to be. While dance tunes played courtesy of a live DJ, much of the crowd mingled in a dance floor area, which sat under an assortment of globe lights, surrounded by plush couches, while others dispersed about the space. There was a room filled with lounges, a very packed bar area, and upstairs, by way of a discreet stairway hidden at the back of the restaurant, a vintage-inspired red room with plenty of mini tables for guests to gather around together, overlooking the entire party.

At least 45 Oscar nominees were in attendance, alongside plenty of other WIF representatives—Celine Song was there celebrating the close of an impressive awards run for Past Lives and Danielle Brooks was upstairs in a cozy lounge section, surrounded by friends such as Jameela Jamil. Elsewhere were people such as Eva Longoria and Lili Reinhart, who arrived with boyfriend Jack Martin, Robbie Brenner, Amy Durning, Kathy Hilton, and Nicky Rothschild Hilton.

Light bites—sushi, caviar bites, fries, and miniature servings of pasta—were on offer. It was one of the shorter stops of the weekend, wrapping up after just two hours, leaving room for the bevy of parties that lie ahead.
