A woman was stabbed to death in Mississauga on Saturday afternoon.

Peel Regional Police officers were called to the Glen Erin-Windwood Drs. area for a call that people were fighting.

A woman was pronounced dead and police took a man into custody.

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.

Teens fire pellet guns at people

Up to seven teens were firing pellet guns at people at Woodbine Park Saturday night.

Toronto Police officers were called to the park, in the Queen St.-Woodbine Ave. area, around 10:30 p.m.

Multiple people were shot and suffered minor injuries.

The suspects are described a Black males, ages 15 and 16, and dressed in black clothing.

Man stabbed in Scarborough

A man was stabbed repeatedly after getting into a fight in Scarborough early Sunday.

Toronto Police officers were called around 8:30 a.m. to the Kennedy Rd.-Hwy. 401 area after a dispute turned violent, and the victim was stabbed several times.

The suspect fled on a bicycle.

The suspect is described as Black, six-foot, and was wearing black clothing.

Motorcyclist dies in collision

A motorcyclist is dead after an early morning collision Sunday.

Toronto Police officers were called around 1 a.m. to a collision in the Brimley Rd.-McNicoll Ave. area after a 27-year-old man driving an SUV on Brimley Rd. collided with a 22-year-old man on a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle was rushed to a hospital, where he later died. A passenger on the motorcycle and the driver of the SUV were both taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries

The investigation is ongoing.
