Woman fighting for life after two-vehicle crash involving learner driver at Marayong in Sydney’s northwest

A woman is fighting for life and a man is left injured after their black Honda collided with a supervised learner driver in an SUV in Sydney’s northwest.

The Honda and the SUV were both travelling in the same direction on Richmond Rd at Marayong, heading towards Blacktown, when they crashed about 9.40pm on Monday.

After the cars collided, the sedan hit a large gum tree, while the SUV came to rest on the opposite side of the four-lane road about 50m away.

“Initial inquiries indicate the SUV may have been clipped by the sedan,” NSW Police said.
