A woman has died after being severely burned in a house fire allegedly lit by her son in a regional NSW town.
Police and paramedics were called to a home on Bribbaree Rd, Bribbaree in the state’s south on Sunday after receiving reports a woman had been injured in a fire.

A 65-year-old woman was found with severe burns and was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
Early on Monday morning, the woman died in hospital.
Police allege the incident was an act of domestic violence.
Following investigations, the woman’s son was arrested at Parkes Police Station.
Police allege the 42-year-old deliberately lit the fire inside the property.
He has been charged with murder, causing wounding/grievous bodily harm to person with intent to murder, damaging property by fire/explosion and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear before Parkes Local Court on Monday.
It’s believed the woman was living at the Bribbaree property with her daughter and her son at the time of the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
