A woman has died, and her male passenger is fighting for life after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday evening.
Their car collided with a semi-trailer truck on Big River Way in Swan Creek, 10km from Grafton, about 5.30pm.
The 65-year-old female driver died at the scene.

“Her passenger, a 13-year-old boy, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition,” NSW Police said.
The driver of the semi-trailer truck, a 36-year-old man, was not injured.
He was taken to Grafton Base Hospital for mandatory testing.
An investigation into how the incident occurred has begun, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
