WNBA star Kelsey Plum turns heads in shirtless leather ensemble

That’s a comment left on Kelsey Plum’s Instagram after she shared pictures of herself clad in a leather vest and pants that caused a stir on the interwebs as she arrived at Michelob Ultra Arena prior to the Las Vegas Aces-Phoenix Mercury season opener Tuesday night.

The WNBA star was shirtless underneath the cropped leather vest and Alexander Wang pants, which were paired with sunglasses and a black handbag and silver jewelry and black boots. Plum — who announced she’s divorcing New York Giants tight end Darren Waller earlier this month — walked with style and confidence to a ring ceremony for the Aces’ 2023 championship win, the New York Post reported.

Many commented on Plum’s head-turning outfit, with some proclaiming how Waller lost while others complimented her style.

“What is wrong with Darren?” one said.

“She pulled up dressed like Stone Cold Steve Austin,” another weighed in with a comparison to the WWE Hall of Famer.

“You know what? Maybe I don’t hate vests,” another stated.

According to the Post, Plum and Waller both filed for divorce on April 23, the same day the WNBA star said her marriage was over on social media.

“I’m devastated. I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it’s time to go,” Plum wrote. “God has given me such an incredible life, and I’m truly so grateful for the profound love from my family and friends. One day I’ll share my story, today is not that day.”

Waller and Plum got married in March 2023.

With her marriage in the rear-view mirror, Plum is focusing on her basketball career. The current Under Armour athlete was also recently featured in a campaign for Skims, the official underwear partner of the WNBA.

Plum is also focused on helping the Aces secure their third straight WNBA championship.
