Will Smith recreates Scots father and son’s viral Nutella and Wotsits TikTok

A Scottish father and son have been left star-struck after Hollywood actor Will Smith recreated their viral video on TikTok.

Andrew Dobbie and his son Fin, social media content creators from Glasgow, known as Entertaining Dad, were reshared by the A-list star after they tried an unusual food combination of Nutella and cheese puffs.

The American actor, rapper and film producer tried the unlikely pairing that was posted by the Dobbies to their channel in July and shared it to his 74.2million followers on TikTok.

Smith also tried mustard on watermelon and pickles with frosting.

Since launching their channel, Andrew and Fin have had more than 150 million views across their videos, in which they document father and son moments.

The duo’s video, in which they reacted to their TikTok “duet” with the film star, has now been viewed more than 7.4 million times since being posted by Smith.

Andrew said: “We were absolutely stunned to see our video recreated by Will Smith. We had so much fun creating it in the first place, but never in our wildest dream did we think it would reach America – nevermind, Hollywood.

“What began simply as a bit of fun on TikTok during the pandemic has evolved into something truly special that we now share together. I’m loving the opportunity to pass down my knowledge of creativity and business skills to Fin, all while having a great time and creating lifelong memories together.

“It’s also an incredible first ‘job’ experience for Fin, a stark contrast to my first job as a paperboy earning £3 per week when I was his age.”
