Meet the new face of Dior’s J’Adore: Rihanna. The first images from Rihanna’s debut campaign for the beloved floral fragrance have officially dropped and, true to form, they’re so golden.
In the photo, shot by Steven Klein, the musician and entrepreneur poses at Versailles in France, the golden doors of the castle glinting behind her in the light. Rihanna’s hair is a warm, lush honey-blonde shade similar to the color she wore during the late spring and early summer, parted in the center and styled in a few subtle bends. Her brows have been bleached to a warm blonde, too, and her skin is practically glowing right off the screen. On her eyes, Rihanna wears a delicate wash of shadow in—you guessed it!—gold, paired with a brownish-rose lip.
We can’t see her outfit, but she does wear a layered pearl collar necklace. In a statement, Dior called the campaign “the beginning of a new dream in gold,” and said J’Adore is “a dream perfume that Rihanna has always loved, as though she were destined for it.” (ICYMI, gold is J’Adore’s signature color; the juice itself is gold, as is the bottle’s instantly recognizable skinny, high neck.)
